Ulrike Anders is Director Participatory Health at IXDS, Germany’s leading service design studio, where she helps to design human-centered solutions for digital services across multiple touch-points with a focus on healthcare.

Before joining IXDS, Ulrike lived in the US for 10 years where she worked for Microsoft, Motorola Mobility, and the Mayo Clinic’s Center for Innovation in the realm of design research, user experience and service design. She returned to Germany in 2011. In Berlin she has worked with organizations to deliver patient-centered healthcare and an improved experience for caregivers and healthcare professionals alike.

Ulrike is founder of Health 2.0 Berlin, a network focused on innovations in the delivery of healthcare and health related technology.
Ulrike holds a Masters in Design Methods from the Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a Diplom in Visual Communication Design from HTW Berlin.
