Alessio Ascari is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of AMICOMED, the first and only certified service to support Physicians and Patients in blood pressure management. The company’s three-month lifestyle modification program helps people, particularly but not only hypertensives, to manage their blood pressure by acting on lifestyle changes.

Alessio is a digital health pioneer and visionary: as a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company he created and led the Firm’s Global Health Initiative analyzing and promoting innovative healthcare delivery systems across the world before leaving consultancy to found AMICOMED following his passion to revolutionize healthcare delivery. Before creating AMICOMED, after a two-year experience in the USA, Alessio worked in McKinsey & Company Inc. for almost 20 years, where he became Director (Senior Partner) mainly serving leading Companies in the telecom and high tech sectors in Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East, LatAm and other emerging markets.
He also initiated multiple initiatives on technological innovation and impact of technology on other sectors, among which in particular the Global mHealth initiative, leading also to several external publications.

He holds a Master in Management Engineering Summa Cum Laude from Polytechnic of Milan (1990) and an MBA with Distinction (Henry Ford II Prize) from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France (1994).
