Dierk Beyer is a trained chemist and strategy consultant. He joined The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked with clients in the pharmaceuticals and chemicals industry. At BCG his focus was manufacturing networks, business-building, growth and marketing strategies. Prior to this, he developed several products in specialty chemicals whilst working as a scientist at Hoechst and Clariant.
Dierk is advising a wide range of small and large Life Sciences and Healthcare IT clients regarding specific M&A topics, but also concerning business growth and business building strategies.
Dierk has been serving on the board of various Life Sciences firms and served as a member of the Task Force for the Pharmaceuticals Industry of the Ministry of Health in Germany (BMGS).
Dierk has lived and worked in Germany, USA, Russia, Japan and Portugal. He holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the Max Planck Institute in Mainz in Germany.
